「NSA 5級・4級取得コース」とは… | NSA(日本サーフィン連盟)公認スクールを受けて「クラス認定テスト」を受講できるようになったのをご存知ですか？
日本サーフィン連盟の制度改正に伴い 白浜マリーナサーフィンスクールでは、「日本サーフィン連盟の公認スクールクラス認定審査員」を取得したスタッフがスクール・クラス認定テストを行います。
「NSA 5級・4級取得コース」はサーフィンをされる方の目標として人気のある「クラス認定テスト」を受けてみたい方や、お仕事などの事情で土日に行われるクラス認定テストの受講ができない方などにおすすめのコースです。

50m程度の泳力があること。
パドリングをしてゲッティングアウト。
テイクオフしてある程度サーフボードの上に立つ事が出来ること。
ボディボードはキッキング能力を追加しテイクオフし、ある程度ライディングが出来ること。

「5級・4級受験講習コース」のご予約は、ほかのスクールコースと同様に受講日の1か月前から受付開始。3日前までに御願いいたします。お客様の都合で、ご予約後に変更が発生した場合は、ご予約待ちのお客様や講師手配の都合、早急にご連絡ください。
クラス認定テスト受講時証明写真（4ｃｍ*3ｃｍ）1枚が必要となります。必ずご持参ください。
スクール料金にはＮＳＡ公認スクールテキスト、賞状、ルールマナーブック、保険料が含まれております。
料金にはレンタル料金は含まれておりません。
クラス認定テストの詳しい内容につきましては、ＮＳＡホームページにてご確認いただけます。
クラス認定テスト合格者の方へ試験日から1ヶ月程度で合格認定証・認定カードを日本サーフィン連盟事務局よりお届けします。
11月1日〜12月31日はNSAの会員更新期間になりますので、4級受験講習コースは5級保持者のみ受講可能です。
当スクールでは、受講いただいた方全員の合格を目指し、講習しております。但し、テストの結果しだいでは不合格の判定の場合もございます。ご了承ください。
白浜マリーナサーフィンスクールは、少人数制で受講していただくため、満員でご予約が取れない日がございます。（大変ご迷惑をおかけします）楽しく安全で 内容の濃いスクールで受講者の皆さんに満足していただくためですので、ご理解願います。
Because Shirahama Marina`s surfing school lessons are taken in groups of small numbers, there may be days where we cannot accept your booking due to all vacancies being taken. (We apologise for this.) Please understand that this is because our aim is to satisfy our customers safely and with enjoyment in the participation of our content-thick lessons.

In the case of a change after booking, please contact us as soon as possible as there may be customers awaiting vacancies for booking and so that we can make arrangements with the lecturer/s promptly.

In the case of the customer being unable to show up in time for their lesson without having contacted our staff, the booking will be cancelled. .

There is no school during the winter season.
盛夏シーズン8月7日〜8月15日のレッスンは 「ベーシックレッスン」 午前10時〜12時（2時間）1レッスンのみとなります。この期間の「ステップアップレッスン」、「プライベートレッスン」、「5級・4級受験講習コース」は休講させていただきます。
From August 7th 〜 August 15th, the peak summer season, we will be operating one morning lesson only from 10am 〜 12pm (2 hours) 「basic lesson」. We will not be operating the step up lesson or private lesson during this time.

| What are the age limits for being able to join the school?
何才〜何才までスクールに入れますか？ | ![]() | Basically, age and gender are not specified. Here at our school there are lots of people in their 60s and families who take our lessons together with their children etc. Children can take the Kids Course.
基本的に年齢、性別も関係ありません。当スクールではお子様と一緒にご家族で受講される方や60代の方も数多く受講しております。お子様はキッズコースにて受講していただいております。
| Can individuals participate?
1人でも参加出来ますか？ | ![]() | Individuals can participate. There are even women who take the lessons by themselves.

| From what age can you take the Kids Course private lesson?
プライベートレッスンのキッズコースは何歳から受講できますか？ | ![]() | Elementary school children and above as long as the child can swim and will definately listen to the teacher`s instructions. If the child is too small, their lack of strength and concentration could end up the cause of an injury.
小学生以上である、程度の泳ぐ力があり講師の話をきちんと聞けるお子様に限ります。あまりに小さいお子様ですと体力や集中力がないので怪我の原因になったりします。
| About what kind of level do you have to be for the Step Up lesson?
ステップアップレッスンはどのくらいのレベルからですか？ | ![]() | Basically, the Step Up lesson is for those surfers who want to focus on technique. It is probably suitable for those who can take of and do riding horizontally. For those who are worried about taking off, it is suggested you take the basic lesson.
基本的にステップアップレッスンはテクニックに悩めるサーファーのレッスンとなります。テイクオフして横にライディングできる方からがよいかと思います。
テイクオフでお悩みの方はベーシックレッスンをオススメいたします。
| What about rainy days?
雨の日でも出来ますか？ | ![]() | As surfing is a sport where you get wet, lessons are held on rainy days too. However, there may be the case of cancellation based on judgement of the ocean`s condition, big waves, thunder and lightning etc. due to typhoons. As soon as any decision is made, we will contact the customer.
サーフィンは水に濡れるスポーツなので雨の日も開催します。ただし、台風による高波や落雷等、海の状態を判断し中止する場合もあります。決まり次第、お客様に連絡します。
| Can the lesson be taken even if you`re not in possession of a wet suit, surf board and other equipment?
ウェット、サーフボード、道具がないのに受けられますか？ | ![]() | We have a preparation of rental equipment. We have a full set of wet suits of every size. On booking please tell us your height and weight. We will prepare the appropriate size for you.
レンタルをご用意してあります。ウェットスーツは各サイズ揃っています。予約時に身長、体重をお知らせください。ご用意いたします。
| What do you have to take to the lesson?
スクール受講時の持ち物はなんですか？ | ![]() | Please bring your swimsuit, a towel and sandals. (It is reccommended that for those taking our lesson in summer and who are worried about sun burn to bring some sun screen.) We have shower facilities at our school so it may be wise to prepare some shampoo etc.
水着、タオル、サンダルをご用意下さい。（夏の受講時や日焼けが気になる方は日焼け止めも用意されることをお勧めします。）当校にはシャワー施設がございますので、シャンプーなどもご用意されるといいかもしれません。
| Is there anything you have to be cautious about the day before the lesson?
スクールの前日になにか注意することはありますか？ | ![]() | Surfing is a sport where nature is your opponent. Here we are always thinking 「customer safely first」 but please come in a prepared condition having properly slept the day before.
サーフィンは自然が相手のスポーツです。スクールは常に「お客様の安全第一」を考え行って行きますが、前日はしっかり睡眠をとり体調を整え来て下さい。
| Do you have to wear something under the wet suit?
ウェットスーツの下には何か着るのですか？ | ![]() | It is suggested that you be wearing swim wear. Board shorts can be bulky and therefore make it hard to move. We reccommend bikini pants etc.
スイムウェアーの着用をおすすめします。トランクスタイプの水着はかさばるので動きにくくなります。ビキニパンツなどがおすすめです。
| What if you dont have very good eye sight?
目が悪いのですが？ | ![]() | We reccommend that you remove your glasses before entering the ocean. They are easy to lose in the waves. It might be good for those anxious to use throw away contact lenses.
海では眼鏡をはずすことをおすすめします。波に巻かれて紛失しやすいです。不安の方は使い捨てのコンタクトレンズを使用すると良いでしょう。
| Are there showers?
シャワーはありますか？ | ![]() | jWe have hot water shower rooms. They are coin showers, ￥200 for 3 minutes. You can use them as changing rooms for free.
温水シャワー室がございます。200円投入で3分間使用出来ます。更衣室としての利用は無料で使用出来ます。
| What should you do about accessories?
アクセサリーはどうしたらいいですか？ | ![]() | If they come off in the ocean, you cannot find them. Lets take of as much of it as we can before entering the ocean.
海の中で外れると見つけられません。海に入るときはなるべくはずしましょう。
| What if you cannot swim?
泳げないのですが？ | ![]() | Those who cannot swim are still able to participate but please inform the instructor prior to the lesson.
泳げない方でも、スクールに参加できますが、受講前にインストラクターにお知らせください。
| Are you able to participate with your own surf board?
自分のサーフボードでも参加できますか？ | ![]() | Yes, of course that is possible. In the case of it being a new board, please have the setting of fins, decking, leash cord and wax done beforehand.
もちろん受講可能です。NEWボードの場合、フィン、デッキ、リーシュコード、ワックスは前もってセッティングしましょう。
| About how long does the school take?
スクールは何時間くらいかかりますか？ | | The school`s basic lesson takes approximately 2 hours, the step up and private lessons take approximately 3 hours. For the basic lesson there is a morning group (from 9AM) and an afternoon lesson (from 1PM). For the step up and private lessons, there is only one group from 1PM.
スクール時間は、ベーシックレッスンで約２時間程度、ステップアップレッスン、プライベートレッスンは約３時間程度のスクールとなっております。
ベーシックレッスンは午前の部（ＡＭ９時〜）午後の部（ＰＭ１時〜）がございます。ステップアップレッスン、プライベートレッスンはＰＭ１時〜のみの開講となっております。
| What if you`re not very confident about your physical strength?
体力に自身がないのですが？ | ![]() | The school is about 2 hours for the basic lesson but if you feel tired at any stage please do not hesitate to inform the instructor. The lesson can be taken at your pace.
スクール時間はベーシックレッスンで2時間程度ですが、疲れた時には遠慮なくインストラクターにお話し下さい。ご自分のペースで受講してください。
| Is it ok even for complete beginners?
まったくの初心者なのですが大丈夫ですか？ | ![]() | For beginners we reccommend the basic lesson. Here at our school lessons are taken in groups of small numbers where a maximum of 4 students are assigned to one teacher and we teach carefully everything from rules and manner to take off.
初めての方はベーシックレッスンの受講をオススメいたします。当校ではインストラクター1名につき最大4名様までの少人数制スクールでルールやマナー、テイクオフまで、丁寧にお教えしております。
| What is included in the school fees?
スクール料金には何が含まれているのですか？ | ![]() | Included in the school fees (tax included) are the lesson fee, payment for the graduation certificate and textbook and an insurance policy. For those customers who wish to rent items such as a wet suit, an extra payment is required.
スクール受講料(税込み)の中には、レッスン料、終了証・テキスト代金、保険料が含まれております。ウエットスーツなどのレンタルをご希望のお客様は別途料金が必要となります。
| For how long can the rental equipment borrowed for the lesson be used?
スクール時に使ったレンタルはいつまで使えますか？ | ![]() | The rental is for one day. It is also possible to rent the board and wetsuit to use straight after the school.
レンタルは１日レンタルです。スクール終了後そのままボード、ウェットをレンタルして遊ぶ事も可能です。
| Is it ok to go by car?
車で行っても大丈夫ですか？ | ![]() | Here at our school we are also running a carpark service so you can come relieved. However, there is a fee in July/August. We ask for your consideration.
当校は駐車場も併設しておりますので安心していらしてください。ただし７月８月は有料駐車場となりますのでご了承ください。
| Is it possible to take the same lesson two days in a row?
２日間同じレッスンのスクールは受講できますか？ | ![]() | It is possible to take the same lesson over more than one day however the content will overlap. We reccommend that on the first day you take our lesson and then on the next day you do repetitive practice of the things you learnt the day before. Or there are people who take a surfing lesson on the first day and a body boarding lesson on the second day.
連日で同じレッスンのスクールの受講は可能ですが、スクールの内容が重なってしまいます。１日目にスクールを受講されて２日目はスクールで教わったことを反復練習される事をオススメいたします。
また、１日目にサーフィン２日目にボディーボードと違うレッスンを受講される方もいらっしゃいます。
